2022-2023 Raffle Quilt
Won by Brenda in Dripping Springs, Texas
The Raffle Quilt Committee chose the Mexican Star quilt pattern by Southwind Designs. It is a dimensional design sewn in blacks and browns with cream background.
Individual quilt blocks were made by various members of the guild with final piecing/quilting by our own and very talented Linda Heatherley.
A clever backing design was created by members Lera Borden and Alice Hobbs (image will be added in the future.)
The drawing was performed by Susan Cleveland during the CCQG Quilt Conference held the first weekend of May, 2023.
2022 Raffle Quilt
Even though the Quilt Conference for May 2022 did not take place, the DRAWING took place on May 7th as scheduled. The winner is :

This pattern was a custom quilt using an antique medallion quilt as a template for this original design. It is filled with animals seen in Texas encircling a golden yellow Lone Star. The wildflowers that surround the star are from the Texas Wildflowers Postcards pattern by Carol Morrissey of O’Carol Quilts House Quilt Patterns. Simple nine-patch quilt blocks finish the outside border.
